I'm Yoav Ginsburg, a 24-year-old Israeli-American photographer and videographer based in NYC. Between November 2020 and April 2024 I was a combat photographer in the IDF covering major events like the Israel-Hamas war and the Türkiye earthquake. My work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, ABC News, CNN, Reuters, the New York Post, Stern, The Guardian and Fox News. My work has also been featured on Israeli media outlets: Ha'aretz, Yedioth Ahronot, Jerusalem Post, Israel Hayom, Ynet, Walla, Channels 11, 12, 13, and 14.
I am passionate about "Telling it like it is" at eye level, finding humans to often be more complex and nuanced than they appear on paper.
Recently, after a backpacking trip in South America learning Spanish (and taking photos of course) , I've relocated to New York City to start a new chapter.
